La théorie de l'attachement trouve ses origines dans la psychanalyse, l'éthologie et la psychologie du développement. Elle postule que l'enfant naît avec un besoin inné de rechercher la proximité d'une figure protectrice afin d'assurer sa sécurité et sa survie. Pour analyser cette théorie, nous nous sommes servis de la méthode d'analyse des documents, soutenue par la technique d'analyse de contenu pour une appréhension approfondie de ladite théorie.
