Thus, the survey method, the guided method, the guided interview, and the non-probability or occasional sampling enabled us to describe the socio-demographic and economic parameters of the respondents, to collect their opinions of the respondents on tobacco consumption, .<\/p>\n<p>The total number of the target population is10383inhabitants and the sample size was 384 subjects after calculation. The type of study was descriptive cross-sectional with an analytical aim. Data processing was performed in excel or data were entered, coded, cleaned, and exported to SPSS 20.0 for analysis. We arrived at the following results: 96% of respondents got information about tobacco through the entourage, 321 or 83,6% of respondents said they had smoked dot 107 or 33,3% of respondents said they had smoked because friends smoke followed by 94 or 29,3% who smoke for the pleasure and taste of tobacco while 23 or 7,2%underlined other reasons. the first hypothesis of our study is confirmed.
