Une \u00e9cole assainie est celle qui a principalement acc\u00e8s \u00e0 de l\u2019eau potable, poss\u00e8de des latrines hygi\u00e9niques s\u00e9par\u00e9es filles\/ gar\u00e7ons\/ membres du personnel en nombre suffisant par rapport aux effectifs, des laves- mains devant chaque bloc de latrines et devant chaque classe\u00a0; et d\u2019une brigade d\u2019assainissement poss\u00e9dant un kit d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne compos\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riel d\u2019assainissement et des produits d\u2019entretien. La m\u00e9thodologie emprunt\u00e9e pour cette \u00e9tude est fond\u00e9e sur une d\u00e9marche participative et prospective au travers de la m\u00e9thode historico-comparative, la m\u00e9thode syst\u00e9mique et celle de l\u2019observation participante. Sur le plan technique, le protocole d\u2019enqu\u00eate nourri par un entretien directif ax\u00e9 sur un logiciel libre(open data), le Kobo Tool Box, a permis la collecte des donn\u00e9es. Les r\u00e9sultats obtenus nous permettent d\u2019affirmer entre autre que\u00a0: La principale menace environnementale \u00e0 laquelle les \u00e9coles primaires de Kinshasa font face est constitu\u00e9e des fortes pluies et inondations (40,14%) suivies des mauvaises pratiques anthropiques comme la mauvaise gestion des d\u00e9chets et les constructions anarchiques (16,29%)\u00a0;Seulement 33,81% d\u2019\u00e9coles visit\u00e9es poss\u00e8dent un point d\u2019eau potable, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire 66,18% n\u2019en disposent pas\u00a0;74,20% d\u2019\u00e9coles visit\u00e9es disposent d\u2019un personnel (un ou plusieurs agents) charg\u00e9 de l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne et de l\u2019assainissement et donc 25,80% n\u2019en disposent pas. Les poubelles dans la cour de l\u2019\u00e9cole existent seulement dans 9,96% des cas et donc absentes dans 90,04% des cas. Le constat ci-haut nous fonde \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer que les \u00e9coles primaires de la Ville- Province de Kinshasa sont de loin en dessous des standards internationaux en mati\u00e8re d\u2019eau, d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne et d\u2019assainissement.
