Elle vise \u00e0 former l&#8217;individu dans ses diff\u00e9rentes dimensions\u00a0: physique, intellectuelle, morale, sociale et esth\u00e9tique. Elle prend diff\u00e9rentes formes selon les \u00e9poques, les lieux et les cultures.<\/p>\n<p>Dans cet article, nous allons nous int\u00e9resser aux th\u00e9ories relatives \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9ducation traditionnelle de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo, en particulier chez la jeune fille Luba du Territoire de Bukama. Pour ce faire, nous allons nous appuyer sur les travaux de quatre auteurs qui ont analys\u00e9 les caract\u00e9ristiques, les finalit\u00e9s et les enjeux de l\u2019\u00e9ducation traditionnelle \u00e0 travers les rites d&#8217;initiation.<\/p>\n<p>Nous allons voir comment cette \u00e9ducation traditionnelle visait \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les jeunes \u00e0 la vie adulte et \u00e0 la vie matrimoniale, en leur inculquant des valeurs, des savoirs et des savoir-faire propres \u00e0 leur culture. Nous examinerons aussi les limites et les d\u00e9fis de cette \u00e9ducation traditionnelle face \u00e0 la modernit\u00e9 et aux changements sociaux qui interviennent dans la vie de la jeune fille Luba du Territoire de Bukama.
